All you need to know: BATA Membership

  • Widen your network and get access to the multidisciplinary experts

Our diverse network means that we have expertise at our fingertips from across the sector, from disability advocates, to small and medium sized AT companies, international enterprises, universities and many more.

The sum of our membership is a passionate and motivated group of organisations that are striving to level the playing field for disabled and older people.

We do not discriminate between types of AT.

If you are interested in AT, work in the AT sector or an adjascent field and have an interest in networking and learning more, BATA is for you.

  • Access to our Special Interest Groups

SIGs are focused on specialist topic areas and designed for sharing insights, knowledge and news, as well as initiative ideas and projects. They enable members to converse on the subjects that are important to them. You may join as many as you like. As a member organisation you can nominate as many members of staff as you wish to join these groups as long as they possess an organisational email address.

SIGs facilitate collaboration with nationwide colleagues to advance change in UK AT where it is needed and take their united voice to those who can affect change whether it be policy-makers or other high-level decision-makers.

  • No cap on the number of employees you sign up

We don’t charge per head so you decide how many people from your organisation you’d like to be involved. Just let our administrator know, and we’ll sign your people up to the SIGs and projects you’d like to be involved in.

  • Access to Unique Opportunities

Members also get a page on our website, the opportunity to be involved with impact projects and initiatives, the ability to help inform BATA's direction and to create your own projects with a network of over 90 AT related organisations across the UK.

We continuously work to support our membership with discounts and reductions for conferences and events as well as partnership opportunities.
