I am a Director of the British Assistive Technology Association (BATA) and Head of Assistive Technology Training at Remtek Systems Ltd, where I lead the delivery of assistive technology training services across the UK.
Throughout my career, I have been passionate about helping disabled individuals achieve greater independence, confidence, and success through the effective use of assistive technology. With extensive experience in both the Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) and workplace support sectors, I have worked closely with students, employees, assessors, funding bodies, educational institutions, and employers to ensure that individuals receive the support they need to thrive.
At Remtek Systems Ltd, I lead a national training department responsible for delivering high-quality assistive technology training to thousands of learners each year. My role encompasses operational leadership, quality assurance, compliance, trainer development, strategic planning, and business growth. I am committed to maintaining high professional standards while ensuring that services remain person-centred, outcome-focused, and responsive to the evolving needs of disabled people.
As a Director of BATA, I am committed to promoting best practice, strengthening professional standards, supporting innovation, and fostering collaboration across the assistive technology sector. I am proud to contribute to an organisation that champions accessibility, inclusion, and the positive impact that assistive technology can have on people's lives.
My goal is to help shape a future where assistive technology is recognised not just as a support tool, but as a powerful enabler of opportunity, independence, and achievement for all.
