As a specialist teacher and consultant I have spent over twenty years using assistive technology to remove barriers to learning for children with complex needs, from working directly with children and young people in the schools to setting up and leading the Kent and Medway Communication and Assistive Technology Service.

My work has taken me from working with schools, other agencies and suppliers. I currently assess children and young people for assistive technology and deliver training for schools and professionals through my consultancy work.

I am looking forward to the discussions in the Teachers for AT Forum and sharing practice with colleagues across the sector.
