This is a joint event by Moon Hall School Reigate and University of Surrey Widening Participation and Success, sponsored by Everway and AT Superstore.
The conference will explore AT, AI, Skills and the Future of Access to Learning
The question underneath the day is simple: How do we design access, confidence and independence into learning from the start, rather than adding support later?
There will be keynotes from Patrick McGrath and Matthew Wemyss, a panel chaired by Al Kingsley MBE, and 12 workshop presentations across 5 connected strands, with contributors including Dr Nicole Ponsford, Associate Professor Deirdre Hughes OBE, Marius Frank, Victoria Hedlund, Lucy Pelling and more.
The day will close with a speech from Michelle Catterson, Executive Head at Moon Hall School Reigate.
The five strands are:
Early help, SEND reform and designed-in access
Assistive technology and digital independence
AI, bias and inclusive practice
Curriculum, creativity and future-ready learning
Careers, skills and future pathways
