Publishers SIG - CALL Scotland: Communication, Access Literacy and Learning

ONLINE EVENT

We’ll be joined by Claire Harrison from CALL Scotland to talk about the work they do and how assistive technology providers can work with them.

CALL Scotland has supported children and young people with additional support needs to access communication and learning through assistive technologies since 1983. Based at the University of Edinburgh, CALL Scotland is part funded by Scottish Government to provide information, training, strategic leadership, research and assessment and support for individual learners.

This session will provide an overview of their history, projects and services which include their free national information and advice serviceposters and info graphs such as their popular Wheels of Apps  and an Assistive Technology loan bank, available to anyone working within the education sector in Scotland.
